'1992' is a delightful COLLECTORS/VINTAGE handheld kaleidoscope by American artists Peggy and Steve Kittelson. The body is made from gorgeous swirled white/pink/mauve/glittery-green slumped glass and houses a 2-mirror, 6-point system with a turning, front lit, clear textured glass background, oil-filled object cell containing Peggy's delicate handmade lampwork and dichroic glass pieces in an array of colors that twinkle and dazzle. The classic "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery created is ever flowing and absolutely stunning. Measures approximately 10.25"L x 2.5"Diameter at the cell end and includes a wooden stand. This vintage, 33 YEAR OLD, kaleidoscope does have a mirror flaw due to age, but this should not affect the enjoyment and beauty of the piece. Created before the couple were married, this is a rare and unique collectors scope. Titled (1992), dated (1992), and signed (Peggy Burnside & Steve Kittelson) by the artists.
