"Morning Glory #32" is a handheld kaleidoscope that is part of the Flower Series by Steve and Peggy Kittelson. The barrel of this scope is slumped white glass with blue glass morning glory flowers. The barrel is created in two stages; the Morning Glories are tack-fused together and then fired with the white base to form the barrel. This scope has a turning end, side-lit, oil-filled object cell with a black background, and a 2-mirror 5-point system. Peggy's handmade lampwork glass is in the object cell and she also included a wonderful little glass Morning Glory that you can see in the internal images. The base of this scope is solid turned Walnut lined in black suede. Scope measures approximately 10-1/4"L x 2-3/8" in diameter. Signed (Peggy and Steve Kittelson), named (Morning Glory), dated (1997), and numbered (#32 of 75). Measures approximately 10-3/8"T x 2-1/2" in diameter and comes with a wooden stand, as pictured.
