"Patchwork Quilt" is a kaleidoscope by Stephen Hopkins and Sherry Golba. This scope was inspired by the award-winning quilting created by master glass bead maker, Shelley Knapp, with gratitude for the quilted maple donated by Randy Knapp. The mirror system in this scope is 30-60-90-degree with masking. The outside of this scope is staved wood in Quilted Maple and the turning object cell is oil-filled and contains a combination of dichroic film and custom lampworked glass designed to match a Shelley Knapp 'Lucini' bead. This scope measures 8"T x 2 1/2" in diameter.
