"The Classic" is a parlor kaleidoscope by Erik Van Cort of Van Cort Instrument Makers. This is a production scope from 1984 with a brass body and a Mahogany base, and has a 2-mirror, 7-point system. There is a turning, end-lit, dry object cell that includes lampworked glass and has a frosted glass background. The object cell is removable from the scope. This scope is marked "Van Cort" on the eyepiece end and measures approximately 14"T x 10-1/4"L x 2-½" in diameter at the object cell end.
