"The Rose" is a handheld kaleidoscope that is part of the Flower Series by Steve and Peggy Kittelson. This scope features a beautiful Red Rose in fused glass on white glass that is slumped to create the kaleidoscope barrel. This scope has a turning end, side-lit, fluid-filled object cell with a black background and there is a 2-mirror 8-point system. Peggy's lampworked glass is in the object cell. The base that comes with this scope is solid turned wood that is lined with black suede. This scope measures 10-½"L x 2-½" in diameter. This scope is signed by the artists (Steve and Peggy Kittelson), named (The Rose), dated (1998) and numbered (#11 of 75).
