"Birds of Summer" is an incredible parlor kaleidoscope by American artist Sue Rioux. The stained glass body features birds on a blue background with tree branches and leaves, all four side have stained glass art. Blue glass rods and decorative soldering embellish this scope. There is a large rotating, oil-filled, side and top lit, glass object cell filled with lampwork glass pieces, colorful beads, tiny birds, dichroic glass, and other glittery items. This piece has both a 2-mirror and a 3-mirror system, which are viewable from the top of the scope in two separate viewing ports. Measures approximately 12"T x 6"W x 5"D. Titled (Birds of Summer), dated (2019), numbered (1/10) and signed (Sue Rioux) by the artist.
