"Birds On Birch" a whimsical, sculptural parlor kaleidoscope by American artist Sue Rioux. The body was sculpted with polymer art clay and features two large Ravens and a sweet little Cardinal perched in it's branches. There is a turning, oil-filled, glass object cylinder containing more dichroic glass (shifts colors with a movement of your light source!) than you can shake a stick at, plus other assorted sparkly beads. The base is black glass with a reflective piece of glass attached onto it, directly beneath the object cylinder, this serves as a mirrored backdrop for the 2-mirror, 5-point system which creates absolutely stunning "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 9.75"T x 3.75"W x 2.5"W at the base (Branches reach a bit further). Signed (Sue Rioux) and dated (2022) by the artist.
