"Botanical" is a fun little handheld teleidoscope by Japanese artist Yazuko Nakazato. Teleidoscopes will change anything you're looking at through them into kaleidoscopic imagery by using a clear marble at the end of its mirror system, instead of an object cell containing colorful items added by the artist, as seen in traditional kaleidoscopes. The body of this scope was created with a small, clear glass cylinder over floral embossed, pearlescent, soft yellow art paper, with a floral and butterfly decal on the glass surface, and antiqued brass filigree end caps. This scope houses a 3-mirror system which creates gorgeous kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 4"L x .75" Diameter and includes a little wooden stand as seen in photos.
