'Bound Images' is an elegant handheld kaleidoscope by American artist duo Skeeter and Peter DeMattia. This VINTAGE collectors delight was created to appear as a stylized book with a "cover" in off white glass panels that have a rainbow sheen that appears when light hits it at differing angles. The turning glass object cylinder is dry, front lit, filled with hand made lampwork glass rods, twists, beads and bits, and features end caps of genuine Amethyst and fancy soldering, making it look much like a magic wand. There is also a fourth body panel, in a translucent pink glass, that will change the look of the inner images when light enters through it. The "book" body houses a wickedly cool 2-mirror, 20-point system that creates spectacular "mandala" style kaleidoscopic imagery. This scope is VERY rare and any scope fan would be excited to have it in their collection. Measures approximately 8.5"T x 5.5"W x 1"D and the object cylinder is around7.5"L. Titled (Bound Images) and initialed (S/P♡) by the artists.
