"Christmas Tree SE" is a spectacular, one of a kind, parlor kaleidoscope by Italian artist Massimo Strino. Piece features a large Christmas tree that is studded with Swarovski crystals, hung with many colorful ornaments and is surrounded by snow skiers, skaters, sledding people, gifts, a dog walker, and even a snowman! This piece has two kaleidoscopes each containing a differing 3-mirror system. When the Christmas tree is turned to wind the internal music box, it plays "Have Yourself a Merry Little Christmas" as the tree slowly rotates for your scoping pleasure. The base on which the tree stands also turns freely, "lazy Susan" style. Each kaleidoscope has a Swarovski crystal encrusted LED mini-light to illuminate the figures as you view them through the scopes. The base is made of wood and is covered in decorative pig skin. Entire piece measures approximately 21.75"L x 12"W x 14"T. Signed, dated (2015) and numbered (1/1) by the artist.
