‘Classic Oil Scope’ is a traditional handheld kaleidoscope by Israeli artist Roy Cohen. The body is constructed with an “antiqued” brass cylinder body which houses a 2-mirror, 6-point system and features a turning, side-lit, oil-filled, black background, object cell containing handmade lampwork glass pieces and assorted colorful beads, with sparkly blue inlaid detailing on it's end. This scope creates lovely, neon-vibrant, traditional "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 7.25"L x 1.5"Diameter at the viewing end and includes a custom created brass resting stand. Signed and dated by the artist. NOTE: This scope contains UV Black Light reactive pieces in the cell and is even more vibrant when using a UV flashlight instead of traditional lighting.
