"Cobalt Star" is a one-of-a-kind handheld kaleidoscope by American artist Carolyn Bennett. The body of this scope is a golden metal tube with an etched image of an Art Deco inspired woman with a moon, star, and animal. This scope is a 3-mirror system and features an object puck created by the legendary CORKI WEEKS, that is turning, oil-filled, side lit, black backgrounded, and contains an assortment beads, marbles, glasswork bits, wires, and teeny faceted crystal gemstones. Scope measures approximately 8.75"L x 2.25" Diameter at the cell end and includes a custom display stand. Signed (C Bennett) titled (Cobalt Star) and dated (2024) by the artist.
