'Copper Lace' is a vibrant handheld kaleidoscope by American artists Steve and Sherry Hopkins. The body is made from wood and has an embellishment of copper that has been embossed by the intricate interior fiber of a Prickly Pear cactus, and houses a 2-mirror, 6-point system. There is a turning, side-lit, oil-filled object cell containing handmade lampwork glass, dichroic glass pieces and assorted beads, crystals, and gems, with a small piece of cactus skeleton attached to a black background. 'Copper Lace' creates gorgeous and vivid "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 7.25"L x 3"Diameter at the viewing end, and includes a wood stand with the artists logo on it.
