'Crystal Flower' is a stunning sculptural parlor kaleidoscope by Japanese artist and scope master, Yasuko Nakazato. The body was constructed with opaque glass panels that have been reversed painted in silvers and golds, and features a large glass flower. The underside of the transparent and mirrored glass base includes LED lights which illuminate not only the object cylinder but also give the entire piece a soft warm glow. Look into two viewing ports at the top of the piece and you'll be treated to TWO completely different, uniquely modified, 3-mirror system kaleidoscopes with an object cylinder that has been split into two halves, one side is oil-filled and the other is dry. The 8" glass cylinder contains delicate, handmade, lampwork glass pieces and has metal filigree end caps. Both kaleidoscopes create incredibly intricate and clear kaleidoscopic imagery, this elegant and modern work of art will delight friends and family for years to come. Piece measures approximately 13.5"T x 10.25"L x 5"W and is signed (Yasuko) by the artist.
