"Egg Of Philosophy" is a series of magnificent, one of a kind, egg shaped, handheld kaleidoscopes created by Japanese duo, Jun Kojima and Rika Kita. Each handmade ceramic scope has unique designs on the egg surface, with earthy glazes and gold accents, making them strikingly beautiful. They have encased, non-turning, oil-filled, object cells filled with delicate, handmade glasswork bits and pieces, all under a frosted glass bottom of the egg. They have varying mirror systems, so please be aware when making a choice during checkout. These measure approximately 4"T x 3.25"W without the stand.

Jun Kojima graduated from Tama Art University and has exhibited works in Karakow, Poland (2005). This artist considers making a kaleidoscope "alchemy", which leads the visitor to a different "dimensional world" the moment they look into the tiny eye piece.
