Product Details
'Fate's Delight' is a wicked cool parlor kaleidoscope by American artists Peggy and Steve Kittelson. The body is made with slumped glass in gorgeous swirling grays, mounted on a wrought iron tripod base that elegantly wraps around the scope body (and is somewhat reminiscent of the sculptures created by Catherine O'Hara's character, Delia Deetz, in the movie Beetlejuice!). There is a turning, oil-filled, side lit, black backgrounded object cell filled with Peggy's wonderful handmade lampwork glass pieces, and with the 2-mirror, 8-point system, this scope produces absolutely spellbinding, crisp, mandala-style kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 13.75"T x 8"W (at the base) x 9"D. Titled ('Fate's Delight'), numbered (#8/50), dated (2000), and signed (Peggy & Steve Kittelson) by the artists.
