"Feathers" is a triple parlor kaleidoscope by American artist Sue Rioux. The body was created with panels of textured, iridescent, color changing, opal-like glass, with three sides have a grid pattern design and the fourth features a peacock feather design swooping across it, these panels are accented with blue glass rods. The body houses a 2-mirror and two differing 3-mirror systems, so you're getting THREE kaleidoscopes in one! The turning, oil-filled object cylinder has three separated sections with one predominantly reds, one in (dichroic) whites, and the third mostly blues, so it's THREE cells in one! This is one unique and fun kaleidoscope that creates spectacular, colorful, and shimmery kaleidoscopic imagery. Piece measures approximately 10"T x 4.5"D x 6"W at the wood base.
