"Flora" is a gorgeous handheld kaleidoscope by American Sue Rioux. The body is made of textured, swirling green/light-blue/subtle-pink stained glass panels with decorative green glass rods and an iridescent glass pebble accent. This is a two mirror, 6-point system with a turning, oil-filled, glass object cylinder that has copper end caps and contains bright cheerful beads in a plethora of sizes and colors, dichroic (color shifting) glass pieces, twisted wires, and other glittery items. This scope also has an iridescent mask on one mirror that causes stunning effects around the traditional "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery created. Measures approximately 9.25"L x 3"T x 4.5"W at the cell end, knob to knob. Signed (Sue Rioux), dated (2025), numbered (179), and titled (Flora) by the artist on the bottom panel.
