"Koboresakura" (translation - 'Falling Cherry Blossoms') is a wonderful little parlor kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Mizue Tatekawa. The body is constructed of glass panels that have an iridescent rainbow sheen, with three pretty glass flower adornments, and houses a 2-mirror, 5-point system that features super cool selective masking which creates "floral mandala" kaleidoscopic imagery. There are TWO interchangeable object cells (held in place with magnets) containing handmade lampwork glass pieces, one is oil-filled the other is dry. This charming scope measures approximately 6.75"T x 2.75"W x 2""D at the base, object cells are about 1.75"Diameter.
