"Living Colors" is an absolutely marvelous handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Chitoshi Takabayashi. The body is made with Walnut wood that has been finished to flawless, smooth perfection. There is a 2-mirror, 6-point system and a turning, oil-filled, front and side lit, object cell containing handmade lampwork glass pieces that are rippled and wavy, almost like seaweed, in dreamy blue and white hues. The mandala-style kaleidoscopic imagery produced by this scope is complete perfection, it was impossible to take a bad photo of the delicate, moving, gorgeousness inside. Measures approximately 6"L x 2.5"Diameter at the cell end. Signed (Twok) and dated (2023) by the artist.
