'Long Blue' is an elegant VINTAGE (1990) handheld kaleidoscope, in near perfect condition, by American artist Peter Roberts. This classic body design was created with panels of swirling sky blue and white glass, housing a spectacular 4-mirror system. There is a dry, non-turning, front lit, clear textured glass backgrounded object chamber containing tiny glass beads and gemmy shapes in varying blues, greens, and pinks. This delightful scope makes beautiful grid patterned kaleidoscopic imagery that is better in person than photos could capture. Measures approximately 12.25"L x 1.25"W and is numbered (#267), dated (1990), and signed (Peter G Roberts) by the artist. Includes custom made resting stand as seen in photos.
