"Love in the Margins" is a lovely handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Aki Nakamura. The octagon body is made with eight glass panels with white fancy lace art paper beneath them. The oil-filled, side lit, internal objet chamber contains delicate, handmade, lampwork glass pieces and there is a UNIQUE, turning, outer wheel that moves the pieces inside the chamber, SUPER COOL! This is a 2-mirror, 8-point system that creates crisp, highly detailed, gorgeous "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 6.5"L x 1.75"Diameter at the viewing end.
