"Love in the Margins" is a lovely handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Aki Nakamura. The octagon body is made with eight clear glass panels that have a gorgeous sacred geometry pattern in earthy hues, with gilded accenting, beneath the surface. The oil-filled, side lit, internal objet chamber contains delicate handmade lampwork glass pieces in predominantly blues and oranges. Turn an iridescent glass octagon at the end of the scope to move the pieces inside the chamber, as they flow and shift, altering the view inside. This is a 2-mirror, 8-point system that creates crisp, highly detailed, magnificent "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 6.5"L x 1.75"Diameter at the viewing end.
