'Lower Antelope Canyon' is an interesting, one of a kind, sculptural kaleidoscope by American artist Allison Borgschulte. The design for this scope was inspired by a trip Allison took to Arizona where she'd toured the Lower Antelope Canyon in Page, AZ. This substantial piece displays a look reminiscent of the canyon walls with a bright blue sky shining through the layered ridges. Set against a bright blue glass background, the object for this scope is a large Cuneo Furnace glass marble, created at the California-based glass studio operated by renowned American glass artist, Steven Maslach. The marble is removable (the plastic bottoms of the scope feet pop out) so you can easily try different marbles and objects for this scope. This is a 4-mirror system which creates super cool repeating 'chorus line' kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 11"T x 4"W x 2.5"D, with the object marble at about 2.25" Diameter. Signed (Allie B) and dated ('23) by the artist.
