"Midsummer Nights Dream" is a dreamy handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Chikako Ishida. This scope is translucent glass in colors of blue and white, with an underlying, reflective silver. The body houses a 2-mirror, 8-point system. There is an oil-filled, non-turning, side-lit object chamber with a black background, containing glasswork pieces, beads and wire fillament. This scope measures approximately 6"T x 2.25" Diameter at the object cell end. Kaleidoscope is signed by the artist (Chikako) and dated (22-16).
