"Minaret II" is a darling handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Mizue Tatekawa. The body was constructed with four, dark green, glass panels that have a glittery sheen with a golden, round, decorative filigree accent. This is a 2-mirror, 8-point system with a dry, non-turning, object cell containing handmade glasswork pieces, and is encased behind 4 textured dichroic (color shifting) glass panels with a black background. The beautiful, mandala-style, kaleidoscopic imagery this scope creates is enhanced by a third, textured glass, interior panel. This sweet scope measures approximately 5.75"T x 1.25"W at the viewing end.
