"Minaret II" is a lovely little handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Mizue Tatekawa. The body was constructed with four white glass panels that have an iridescent rainbow sheen and a golden, round, decorative filigree accent. This is a 2-mirror, 6-point system with a dry, non-turning, object cell that is encased behind 4 textured glass panels and a white background. The beautiful, mandala-style, kaleidoscopic imagery this scope creates is enhanced by a third, iridescent and textured, interior glass panel. This sweet little scope measures approximately 3.75"T x 1"W at the viewing end.
