"Miyabi" is a gorgeous handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Ichiro Seino. The scope body is handmade in fine ceramic with an off-white, shiny glaze and features raised climbing vines and houses a 2-mirror, 7-point system. There is a non-turning, oil-filled, object chamber containing handmade glasswork pieces, dichroic glass, glass beads, pearls, and glass rods with a black background. This scope has altered mirrors and creates fantastical, dreamy "flowering" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 8"L x 1.75" Diameter at the cell end and includes a small ceramic cradle to prevent scope from rolling. Signed with artist logo (Ichiro).
