"Opal Blue Zen Garden Kaleidoscope" is a whimsical parlor kaleidoscope by ceramics artist Suzanne Burnham. The piece is made of porcelain clay with a gorgeous, earthy blue/gray glaze. This scope features a 'lazy Susan' style rotating garden plate, bag of sand, a Yunomi cup for holding spare zen garden items, a rake for moving the sand and zen pieces, and an adorably sculpted little howling dog. While slowly rotating the garden plate, the 3-mirror system inside the scope creates wonderful kaleidoscopic imagery from the sand and items on the plate. Rearrange the items (or add some of your own) in the garden for ever changing kaleido-fun. Scope measures approximately 9"T x 5"W, garden plate is 6" in diameter. All ceramic pieces of this charming scope are signed (SUZ) by the artist.
