'ParaCone' is a limited edition (of only 6) handheld kaleidoscope by American artist and scope master Charles Karadimos. The traditional Karadimos 'ParaCone' designed body is slumped glass in a milky violet and features fused glass detailing resembling the exquisite, metallic colors of a Dogbane Leaf Beetle's wings. The turning, front-lit, dry object cell is filled with Charles' handmade lampwork glass pieces, glass beads, tiny dry ampules containing itty bitty glass balls, and dichroic glass chips with a semi-frosted clear glass background that has an iridescent finish. The body houses a tapered 2-mirror, 10-point system which produces sharp, highly detailed, completely spectacular "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 7.75"T x 2.25"Diameter at the cell end. Signed (CS Karadimos), dated (2025) and numbered (6/6) by the artist.
