"Peacock" is a fantastic handheld kaleidoscope by American artist Carolyn Bennett. The body of this scope is an acrylic tube with underlying art paper with a vivid double Peacock design. This scope is a 3-mirror system and has a turning, oil-filled object chamber, side and front lit, with a frosted background. Cell contains assorted beads, glasswork pieces, dichroic bits and other interesting items, in colors coordinating with the outer body design. This scope creates gorgeous kaleidoscopic imagery and by moving a light source around the object cell, you will see internal colors shifting/changing due to the dichroic bits inside. Measures approximately 10"L x 1.75" in diameter at the cell end. Marked "C Bennett Scopes, Made in USA".
