"Purple Haze" is a large and magnificent triple parlor kaleidoscope by American artist Sue Rioux. The body was constructed with absolutely spectacular, textured, rainbow iridescent, curved glass panels, is accented with decorative glass rods, and has a translucent blue glass background/base. Sue created 'Purple Haze' with a 2-mirror, 3-mirror and 4-mirror system inside, so you'll get THREE kaleidoscopes inside of one! The turning object drum (3.75"L x 3" in diameter) was assembled by soldering together various pieces of glass including textured, pebbles, beads, dichroic (color-shifting), faceted crystals and more. All three internal scopes create breathtaking kaleidoscopic imagery, this is one of Sue's most gorgeous kaleidoscope creations yet! Measures approximately 11.75"T x 7"W x 3.5" deep at the base.
