'Reflections 1997' is a very rare, VINTAGE (29 years old) handheld kaleidoscope by American artist Kay Winkler (1920-2020). This triangular scope was created using absolutely gorgeous, metallic, mirror-like blue swirled stained glass panels. The body houses a 2-Mirror, 5-Point system with a turning, dry, front lit, clear textured background, glass object chamber containing fantastic little handmade glasswork bits and pieces plus assorted beads in various shapes, all with a red/white/clear color theme. The gorgeously festive kaleidoscopic imagery created is cheerful and detailed with cris, clear mirrors but please note there is a mirror-line showing due to the scope's age. Measures approximately 9.5" x 2.75"T x 1.75"W and the object cell is 2.25" Diameter. Dated (1997) and signed (Kay Winkler) by the artist.
