"Rose Boxed Set" is a fabulous handheld kaleidoscope by master scope makers Peggy and Steve Kittelson. The body of this scope features a beautiful, fused-glass rose bud on both sides of a white slumped glass barrel. This set includes 4 interchangeable object cells, three (3) oil-filled and one (1) dry cell, each with a clear "frosted" glass background. This is a 2-mirror, 8-point system which creates gorgeous, mandala kaleidoscopic imagery. Peggy's beautiful, handmade, lamp-work glass pieces are inside each of the four object cells. This set fits perfectly into a handmade Walnut wood box that has been lined in sweet smelling Cedar wood, with an additional fused-glass rose bud panel framed on the lid of the box. Scope measures approximately 10.75"L x 3" diameter at the cell end. This collectors piece is signed (Peggy Burnside, Steve Kittelson), dated (1992), and numbered (#31 of 50).
