"Ruby" is a delightful handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Ichiro Seino. The body is handmade in ceramic with a metallic flecked, shimmery black glaze, and announces, in gold, the word "Ruby" across the front. The non-turning, oil-filled, black background object chamber contains a Ruby colored theme (July's birthstone) with handmade glasswork pieces, bits of sea glass, pieces of shells, beads, and other interesting items. This is a 3-mirror, 6-point system that creates absolutely gorgeous kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 7.75"L x 1.75" Diameter at the cell end. Includes a custom made cradle to set this beauty in when not in use.
