"Shining Bottle" is a tiny, delicate, blown glass, handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Chikako Ishida. This scope is a small, genie-like bottle which contains birefringent material and tiny glass beads. The scope captures light, reflected from the dichroic film and beads, and creates wonderful swirly, colorful imagery. Measures approximately 3-1/4"T x 1-1/4" in diameter.
