'Side-Lit Handheld' is a large handmade kaleidoscope by American artists Mark & Carol Reynolds. The scope is made in a variety of different woods for the body's construction, each has it's own individually designed wooden inlay accentuation down the length of the body. Scope is a 3-mirror system. There is a turning, oil-filled, side-lit object cell containing an assortment of glass beads, lampwork glass, dichroic glass pieces and other interesting bits. 'Side-Lit' creates spectacular kaleidoscopic imagery that will dazzle anyone taking a peek inside. Each of these handmade creations are one-of-a-kind so slight variations should be expected in the wood body and inlay. Measures approximately 12.25"L x 2.75"Diameter. Includes a wooden stand and is initialed by the artist on the viewing end.
