"Spring Garden" is a large and magnificent parlor kaleidoscope by Peggy and Steve Kittelson. Only 5 were made of this stunning limited edition scope. The slumped white glass body features blooming, colorful, highly detailed garden flowers, created with fused layers of Peggy's custom handmade glass pieces. There is a 3.5" diameter, side lit, oil-filled, turning object cell filled with Peggy's delicate, handmade, lampwork glass flowers, dichroic lampwork glass, and other glass bits and pieces, with a black background. The body houses a 2-mirror, 7-point system which creates glorious, blooming, mandala-style kaleidoscopic imagery. Scope is attached to a wooden base and the entire piece measures approximately 14.25"T x 13.25"L x 5.75"W at the base. The scope itself is approximately 4"Diameter at the viewing port end. Titled (Spring Garden), dated (2023), numbered (3 of 5), and signed (Peggy and Steve Kittelson) by the artists.
