'Tencuka' is a texturally pleasing handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Non Numajiri. The cylinder body has been wrapped by hand in fibrous cording which has been dyed in rich, earthy colors, and houses a 2-mirror, 6-point system. The object chamber is non-turning, front lit, dry, with a clear background and contains snips of clear acrylic film and small glass beads in colors that coordinate with the outer body color. Together these elements create absolutely gorgeous "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 5.25"L x 1.5" Diameter.
