"Tourmaline" is a gorgeous handheld kaleidoscope by American artist Sue Rioux. The body was created with textured, pink/green/white stained glass panels, decorative pink glass rods, an iridescent glass pebble accent, and copper soldering. The body houses a 3-mirror system which creates gorgeous kaleidoscopic imagery. The turning, oil-filled object cylinder contains dichroic (color shifting) glass pieces, assorted colorful glass beads, bits of lampwork glass, and other interesting items. Measures approximately 6.75"L x 2"T x 1.75"W and the object cylinder is about 2.5"L. Titled (Tourmaline), dated, and signed (Sue Rioux) by the artist.
Note: To get the full effect of dichroic glass, move a light source around the object cylinder while spinning it for extra WOWS!
