'Up On The Housetop' is a one-of-a-kind, musical, parlor kaleidoscope by Italian artist Massimo Strino. This scope features an jolly crystal encrusted Santa Claus about to go down a chimney ready to deliver a sack full of toys. Wind up Santa and he becomes the "turning object" for the scope, slowly rotating while a music box version of the song "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" plays. The angle adjustable scope itself is also accented with crystals, and there is a little crystal encrusted LED flashlight on a chain, to provide extra illumination, which causes the crystals to become a sparkling and dazzling explosion of kaleidoscopic imagery. This kaleidoscope houses a 3-mirror system and the entire piece measures approximately 14"T x 12"L x 6"W at the base. This scope is titled, numbered (1/1), dated (2025), and signed (Massimo) by the artist.
