"Venus in Gold" is a stellar handheld kaleidoscope by Japanese artist Koji Yamami. The substantial body is constructd with golden mirrors and golden metal accents, giving this scope a nice weight in your hand. This scope is a spectacular 3-mirror, 6-point system and its oil-filled, turing, glass object globe contains handmade lampwork glass pieces, fine wires, dichroic glass, and other sparkly items. Metal viewing port end is stamped "Koji Yamami Little Bear". Scope measures approximately 7.5"T x 2.25" Diameter at the eyepiece end. Signed (Koji) and dated (2024) by the artist.
