'View Our World' is a modern wooden parlor kaleidoscope by American artists Stephen Hopkins and Sherry Hopkins. The body was created with gorgeous Cocobolo wood that has been "book-matched", making the design luxuriously sleek and handsome. The body houses dual tapered 3-mirror systems that create a large spherical kaleidoscopic image which can be viewed by two people simultaneously. There are FOUR interchangeable, turning, oil-filled object cells that contain custom created lampwork glass pieces, dichroic (color shifting) glass, and other interesting found objects. Note; try moving a light source around the cell at different angles to change the imagery colors without turning the cell, cool! Piece measures approximately 10"T x 11"D x 10"W, object cells are 4"Diameter, and is titled (VOW), dated (2016), numbered (10/25) and signed (S2Jerome Hopkins) by the artists.
