"Violet Firefly" a stunning kaleidoscope by Roy Cohen, is made out of welded brass. There is a UV torch-light implanted within the kaleidoscope body. This light is transferred through fiber optics to a hidden oil-filled cell chamber, containing fluorescent objects, situated within the kaleidoscope body. Measures 18" tall on the stand. The scope itself is 11"L x 6"W at the object cell end and 2" in diameter at the eyepiece end. It has a 2-mirror system and is signed and dated by the artist.
