'Wave' is a beautiful handheld kaleidoscope by American artist Charles Karadimos. The cone-shaped body of this slumped forest green glass scope is accented with a blue/green speckled fused glass "wave" on the front and back of the piece. The body houses a tapered, 2-mirror, 10-point system and has a turning, dry, front lit object cell filled with handmade liquid ampules, lampwork glass pieces, and dichroic glass bits, and a translucent swirled green/white glass background, which together create an infinite number of spectacular "mandala-style" kaleidoscopic imagery. Scope measures approximately 10.75"T x 2.75"Diameter at the object cell end. Signed (CS Karadimos), dated (2025), and numbered (2/6) by the artist.
