"Whispy" is a wonderful new parlor kaleidoscope by American artists Peggy and Steve Kittelson. The body scope was formed with white slumped glass that has the most delicate veiled and wispy neutral colored design, mounted on a solid hardwood pedestal base. The scope has an astounding 2-mirror, 16-point system, with an oil-filled, side-lit, turning object cell containing Peggy's own beautiful handmade lampwork glass and dichroic glass pieces, with a solid black background.
The magnificent 'mandala-style' kaleidoscopic imagery created is delicate, mystical and ever flowing. Piece measures approximately 12"T x 11"D x 4.5"W at the base. Titled (Whispy), dated (2025), and signed (Peggy & Steve Kittelson) by the artists.
