"Wood & Copper" is a rustic handheld kaleidoscope by American artist Mike Morfeld. The scope body was created from wood and has a copper end-cap at the viewing end. The turning, oil-filled, glass object cylinder contains bits of colored glass, beads, a shell, sequins and other sparkly items, with a copper cap on each end, and light enters through frosted glass at the cell end. Inside there is a 3-mirror, 11-point system that creates beautiful, twirling, kaleidoscopic imagery. Scope measures approximately 9" x 2"Diameter at the viewing, end and the cell is about 4.75"L.
