'A Carousel' is a gorgeous, musical, parlor kaleidoscope by Italian artist Massimo Strino. This antiqued brass kaleidoscope features a delightful carousel with 3 galloping white horses, all encrusted with sparkling crystals, serving as the turning object to view. Wind-up the carousel and an internal music-box plays 'The Carousel Waltz' as it slowly rotates and shows you dazzling, moving, full-view kaleidoscopic imagery through the 3-mirror system. Includes a crystal encrusted LED mini-flashlight on a chain, to direct at the rotating piece, causing the crystals to brilliantly sparkle. Piece measures approximately 14"T x 13"L x 4"W. Titled (A Carousel), dated (2026), numbered, and signed (Massimo) by the artist.
NOTE: All internal images in this listing were shot in a dark room with only an LED flashlight illuminating the piece. Viewing this way causes the negative space to be very dark, as seen in pictures. View it in a room with lights on (still use the flashlight though as it creates the sparks) and the negative areas will be brighter, reflecting the colors in the room.
