'Agate Lazy-Susan' is a cheerful, earthy parlor kaleidoscope by American artist Steve Failows. This handmade ceramic scope features a glossy, blue speckled, plum glaze and a magnificent slice of natural Agate for it's base. A hand thrown ceramic "lazy-Susan" bowl rotates on ball bearings, making a smooth viewing experience. Included with the scope are glass pebbles in a rainbow of colors, but you can also add other items into the bowl, such as spare change, jewelry, tiny ornaments, ... anything you can imagine, and turn them into wickedly cool kaleidoscopic imagery through the 3-mirror system. Endless possibilities for viewing enjoyment, this scope is a total "people pleaser" and would be a unique gift to give. Piece measures approximately 11.5"T x 8.5"D and the scope itself is about 8.75"L with the bowl at 6.25" Diameter.
