'Red Flower - 赤い花' is a gorgeous handheld kaleidoscope by renowned Japanese artist Ichiro Seino. The cylindrical body was handmade in fine ceramic with an off-white shiny glaze, features raised climbing vines, and houses a spectacular 2-mirror "column" system. There is a turning, oil-filled, black background object cell containing handmade ceramic pieces, teeny glass beads and tiny glass rods, with a pretty flower etched onto the outside end of the cell. This scope has an altered mirror system that creates fantastical, dreamy "flowering" kaleidoscopic imagery. Measures approximately 8.25"L x 2" Diameter at the cell end and includes a small ceramic resting cradle. Signed with artist logo (Ichiro).
